Tauranga is our oldest vessel, built as a wellboat in 2001, and was the first vessel in the world to feature the sliding bulkhead commonly used today. This feature was developed by our founders as a solution to help unload fish more efficiently. The vessel was converted to Europe’s first harvest vessel for salmon in 2008 through close cooperation with Marine Harvest (now Mowi). Since 2009 she has operated as a harvest vessel for Mowi, transporting more than 700 000 tons of Salmon destined for all corners of the world.
