Tauroa can harvest up to 200 tons of salmon per hour, and can load up to 750tons on board its its refridgerated seawater tanks.
In May 2025 Tauroa came home to Langevaag on Bomlo after the long journey from Turkey.
A proud day in the company’s 30-year history! Tauroa is the first of two vessels ordered from Sefine Shipyard — a unique vessel that sets a new global standard for harvest vessels. At 70 meters in length, it takes on the role of the world’s largest and most advanced vessel in its segment, dedicated to stun and bleed of fish directly at the edge of the cage.
The vessel has already commenced its operatons at Mowi’s new factory at Josnoya in the municipality of Hitra.
